Raising Awareness, Ending Impunity, Restoring Peace
In 2011, Jubilee Campaign’s Justice for Jos Project
and other human rights advocates with a significant stake in Nigeria conducted a briefing on the impunity following the 2009-2010 massacres and violence in the northern states. Executive Director Ann Buwalda also traveled to the Netherlands in July 2011 to seek the improvement of the International Criminal Court’s processes to expedite investigations and reported crimes against humanity, along with the Plateau State Attorney General Edward Pwajok and former Congresswoman Martha Bodunrin. In May 2012, Ann Buwalda again led a delegation of Nigeria stakeholders to the ICC.

We provide support to Peace & Reconciliation Ministries in Africa (PRMA) to empower Northern Ugandan communities in the Lango sub region and resolve conflict. PRMA provides reconciliation training and peacemaking intervention through conflict coaching, meditation, and arbitration to the families, individuals, churches, and clans.
